Soft Sea Foam

Hi All,

Soft Sea Foam.  That's one of the new colors in the 2018-2019 catalog.  Such a pretty color...especially when you pair it up with a darker color like the brown of the wood background. Kim McGillis did just that on her card.

What better to pair it up with than some underwater treasures: Sand Dollars, Sea Stars and Coral.

The Wood accent sheet is a page from the Wood Textures DSP pack.  This pack is great as it has all different tones of wood to use on your projects.  The one we used here has dark brown tones similar to the Early Espresso ink.  I really like it with the Soft Sea Foam green.

Fruit Basket

Hi All,

It has been quite a while since I've posted...so, I have a huge backlog of cards! The card I have for you today is reminiscent of summer.  It uses the strawberries from the Fruit Basket set in the Occasions Mini.  I got the idea for this card from Lynda Lee.

What I loved about this card was the simplicity: the red of the strawberries against a backdrop of white.  Then, lots of paper piercing.  I only had to do the outside border of the card as the square is die cut from the Stitched Shapes Framelits and it does the piercing for you.  So great!

Hi All,

Baby cards are the cutest to make and this stamp set makes it so easy!  How cute is this tent?

So many options here.  You can paper piece the tent with different paper prints or color it in with ink.  I kept the design simple and added in some different Washi Tape prints.  SU! offers a few different Basic Washi sets that coordinate in color and design making it so easy!  I kept mine neutral for my workshop, but can't wait to make pink and blue ones.
