Vintage Friends

Happy Friday Everyone! I, for one, am glad the week is over. My focus is now on my Sponge Class for Saturday.

This is the second card we'll be making tomorrow. Unfortunately, I can't take credit for designing this one. I did a CASE (Copy And Share Everything) of Kelly Lunceford over at Flutter by Atomicbutterfly. You must go check out her blog at
Until stumbling upon some of her cards at Splitcoast, Vintage Styles were never my thing. She truly has inspired me to switch it up a little bit and accessorize, even overaccessorize!

This card has been sponged with Ranger's Distress Ink to give it an aged/vintage look. It goes just perfectly with the Friends 24-7 stamp set. You apply the ink with a sponge and....Voila! Your card looks like it came from your Grandma's shoe box. Like me, maybe this card will inspire you to try a new look for your cards. Have a great weekend!
