You're Simply Wonderful

Hi All,

In keeping with the Mother's Day theme, I have another feminine card for you.  All we mothers want on our special day is to relax.  What better way to do that than on a nice bike cruise?

I had seen this card from Jacque Williams.  I love that she paired a simple bicycle image with these pretty papers.  The prints are from the Love Blossoms DSP stack.  I love every design in this pack. They can all be mixed and matched and work so well together.
Item #: 140548 Love Blossoms DSP Stack $8.00
This paper pack is retiring and only available while supplies last.  If you'd like to add this to your collection, pop me an email or click on the 'Order Online' icon in the top right-hand corner.  Thanks for stopping by!

Flowering Fields

Hi All,

I got the girls together last week for a workshop.  Our theme was 'Celebrate Her' for Mother's Day, so I wanted to keep things pretty feminine.  Easy to do, right?  For me, the Flowering Fields set from the SAB Mini was a perfect choice.

I had seen this card by Rachel Palmieri and liked the simple design. I paired up Gumball Green and Raspberry Ripple.  Gorgeous together!  This card was ridiculously hard to photograph. I used three different cameras and lots of Photoshop.  I couldn't get a clean/crisp image.  I used Stickles to add a little sparkle...I think the light reflection was throwing off the focus.  Anyone else ever have that problem?  Anyways...it is what it is ;)  Hope you like it!

You Are the Nicest

Hi All,

I have a little more hummingbird for you today.  This is my second card from the Picture Perfect set.

Does anyone recognize that DSP?  One of my All-time favorites: Thoroughly Modern.  I have a few pieces left and then it's all gone :(  But, for the colors of this hummingbird, I felt it worthy of getting used.

Item ID: 140520 Picture Perfect $27.00

The DSP was easy to choose, I was looking for a particular color combo.  But, I couldn't decide on my background.  It was too plain without anything, and I didn't want it too busy.  So, I pulled out the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.  It was the perfect addition.  It was introduced in the Holiday Mini as a snow background, but as you can see, it definitely translates to other cards.

Item ID: 139672 Softly Falling $8.50
Once again I added some sequins.  Couldn't resist!  The Fine-Tip Glue Pen makes it so easy to add them.

Item ID: 133631 Sequins-In Color $1.99
I love how this card turned out.  This stamp set really is a Must-Have.  If you'd like to add it or any other products to your collection, click on the 'Order Online' icon in the top right-hand corner or pop me an email.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

A Glimmery Gold Note

Hi All,

Happy Weekend!  It's been a pretty slow week for me work-wise, so I've had a bit of extra time to get into the 'ol craft room.  I've been playing with a new stamp set from the Occasions Mini called Picture Perfect.  There were a couple of cards I had seen with the hummingbird, so I thought I'd jump in with him first.

My card is a CASE of this card by Melissa Davies.  I fell in love with the colors she chose...especially that Gold Glimmer paper.  Just divine.  The hummingbird is a 4-step stamp and the flower is a 3-step stamp.  Stampin' Up makes it easy.  Each stamp is numbered so you know in which order to stamp.  That just leaves the fun of picking out your colors.  For my flowers, I used Bermuda Bay & Island Indigo.  For the hummingbird I used Smoky Slate and Basic Grey in addition to the same two blues.

Item ID: 140520 Picture Perfect $27.00

I love the sequins with the hummingbird.  Not sure why, but they just fit...maybe because hummingbirds are glimmery??  SU! brought out a glue pen that works perfectly with getting these little buggers onto your card.  It's called a Fine-Tip Glue Pen. It was introduced to work with the Thinlit Dies, but it works perfectly with those tiny embellies too.

Item ID: 138309 Fine-Tip Glue Pen $7.00

I fell in love with the simple elegance of this card.  Hope you did too!  If you would like to add any of these to your collection, just click on the 'Order Online' icon in the top right corner or pop me an email.  Thanks for stopping by!

Good Neighbors

Hi All,

We met a couple a few months ago through a board game Meetup we started last fall.  They just moved into a new house and had a housewarming party this weekend.  I don't usually get to make housewarming cards, so this one was fun to play with.

First, I had to peruse to see what I even had to work with.  I settled on an old Sale-A-Bration Set called Good Neighbors. I've probably had this for years and have never used it. Who knew that it had not only these cute houses, but these adorable trees as well.  Absolutely love them!

Since I was using the Crumb Cake cardstock, I wanted some pops of color.  I settled on Melon Mambo, Elegant Eggplant and Island Indigo.  They work so perfectly together.  Took the design to the inside...and the back.  {Like I said, love these trees!}

I love how this card turned out.  Hope you did too.  If you'd like to add any products to your collection, pop me an email or click on the 'Order Online' icon in the top right-hand corner.  Thanks for stopping by!
