{GRATEFUL}

Hi All,

Thanksgiving week is finally here and I have a couple of Fall themed cards to share with you.  I've seen the technique I have for you today used quite a bit lately. It uses the Negative image of a die cut.

Using my Little Leaves Die, I cut the leaves and popped out the image.  I opted to put some DSP behind my image, but this would work perfectly with some fabric as well.  It's a nice simple card that goes to show, you shouldn't throw away any of those scraps!

If you'd like to see my inspiration for this card, hop on over to Andrea's Blog: Work in Progress. She has a super sweet version in Kraft/Pink.  Just love it!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Stamps: Falling Leaves
Paper: Pool Party, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla Cardstock; Spice Cake DSP
Ink: Early Espresso Classic Ink
Accessories: Sizzlets Little Leaves Die &  Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch

Fabulous Flower

Hi All! It's good to be back. I took a little hiatus for my brother's wedding in California and then just took the rest of the week off from crafting altogether. I feel so refreshed and ready to go.

This card was inspired by Vicki Burdick's seen here. She used a bit of embossing on the Flower Fest stamp set. I don't have this stamp set, but felt pretty confident I could create something similar. The first thing that came to mind was my Nestabilities. I cut three different sizes and stacked them. I recreated her embossed edge by sponging the edges with some Whisper White Craft Ink.

I needed a Mom Birthday card and a Petal Cone to match, so it was fun to try out a different style on the cone. I did the same flower and added the Little Leaves Die Cut. So feminine...so pretty. Hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by.

Stamps: Bring on the Cake & Non-SU Alphabet Set
Paper: Regal Rose, Certainly Celery and Whisper White Cardstock; Sweet Always DSP
Ink: Regal Rose & Basic Black Stamp Pads; Whisper White Craft Pad
Accessories: Petal Cone Die, Little Leave Die, Scallop Circle Nestabilities, Half Back Pearls, Certainly Celery Satin Ribbon, Light Green Rik-Rak, Corner Rounder Punch and a sponge

Sweet Thoughts

I had a workshop this week and the theme was "Hey Sweet Pea!" If you can't tell, I LOVE the new Sweet Pea products offered in the occasions Mini.

I couldn't wait to share the new felt pieces with my Stampin' Gals. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough pieces for each of my girls to make both flowers, but they got to decide which card to make: this one or the Rose Red card in the prior post. I love them both...so, I'm glad I didn't need to make that decision ;)

This card was inspired by yet another Julie...do we have good taste or what??? Here is her card. I loved how she created the flower with the Little Leaves Die. I just incorporated it into the same card design as in my last post. The DSP on this card is from the Sending Love pack. Pretty in Pink and Chocolate Chip...need I say more...it's a classic color combo!

The Sending Love DSP is in the Occasions Mini and the sentiment is from Whimsical Words in the Sale-A-Bration Mini. It can be earned for FREE with a $50 order till March 31st.

Hope you like it & Thanks for stopping by!
