Barn Door Blessings

Hi All,

Is this not the cutest card?  And, yes, that barn door actually slides back and forth.  How clever is that??

I'm not usually one for fru-fru or high maintenance cards, but the extra time this one takes is so worth it.  It's got a lot of little bits and pieces, but it goes together pretty easily.

Lucky for us, there are lots of tutorials out on YouTube for putting them together, but this is the one that I used.

Item# 145662 Sliding Door Framelits Die $27.00

The Sliding Door Framelits contain all of the little bits needed for the door's hardware.  There are, however, different options for assemblying it.  I used #6 Flat Washers from the hardware store, but I've also seen small circles with dimensionals used. These allow the door to slide.

This was one of my favorites from the Occasions Mini and it carried over into the 2018-2019 Catalog.  The Barn Door.  They are all the rage to install in homes now...so why not add them to a card?

This card was CASED from Julie Davison.  I love how she incorporated the Barn Door into a Gate Fold Double Door card.  They are held closed by ribbon, but open up to a message inside.  So clever!

The Framelits provide die cuts for the Barn Door and all of its decorations.  It makes it so nice to have both together.  You can stamp AND die cut.  No cutting!
