Watercolor Wash

Hi All,

Keeping with my watercolor theme,  I have a nice big watercolor background for ya!  It doesn't get much easier than this.  Grab your stamp, ink it up and stamp away.

I found that I was having a hard time getting a clean image from my stamp pad onto the stamp.  I was getting lines from the stamp pad edges. At my workshop, someone suggested using a brayer to smooth out the ink.  I didn't think of that at the time, but will give it a shot.  What I did do, was grab my Color Box Chalk pad as it had no edges to leave lines.  It also leaves a chalkboard like texture. Really cool effect and the color was pretty gorgeous too {Rose Coral}.

I paired the coral up with gold.  What a great combo!  The sentiment is embossed in gold embossing powder and the butterfly is die cut with Gold Glimmer paper and Vellum.  I attached the butterflies together at the body and added a few sequins to cover the adhesive point.  I had gotten the idea for the butterfly here from Michelle over at Stampin' 365.  So, so pretty!
